Stagette Painting Party!

Take 10 women give them a paint brush and watch the canvas come alive! 

The group was invited to spend an afternoon in my studio.  I provided inspiring photos and paintings to work from, all the paint supplies, a canvas and aprons.  They brought in a tasty cheese platter and some of their own wine to drink. 

The bride now has a beautiful new painting for her new house.

 TransAlta Risk Team - takes a day off for team building through creativity.

This is a collaborative project where a group is lead through the process of creating one large expressive abstract painting. The group will be taught introductory lessons on colour theory, brush painting techniques and the approaches to self-expression through visual communication.  Everyone is encouraged to add his or her own special touch to the piece.  Think ‘Jackson Pollock’.  Your group will have a finished painting to hang. Stretching and/or framing of canvas are extra. Two hours is a good time frame for this workshop.

Have you ever wanted to fling paint on a canvas free form?  It is amazing how a group of office dwellers can loosen up given the chance.
