Art Board Part 2
11-28-2007 Last attempt on the Cedar art board created much warping, but I refuse to give up on this potentially wonderful board. For my second go around I first sprayed the board with a waterborne satin protectant. I sprayed up and down horizontally first, let that dry and then sprayed up and down vertically. I let that dry and then put on three layers of clear gesso. I let the gesso dry completely in between each layer. I made sure not to use any water in this process.
I then painted on the board with Oil paints. The next day I came back and all seemed well. There was no noticeable warping in the board.
Now to try on the extra large size with acrylics. I will let you know how it goes.
